Terms of Use

Last updated 25 October 2026 · Operator: Bright Day Apps

These are the plain terms for using Home Reset. Questions? Email [email protected] and a person answers.

What Home Reset is

Home Reset helps you tidy one area at a time. You photograph an area, the app suggests a short plan, and you work through it. It is a helper, not a professional cleaning or safety service. Use your own judgement with furniture, chemicals, ladders and anything heavy or sharp.

Your account

You sign in with your email and a one-time code, so keep access to that email. You must be at least 16. One account per person.

The founders’ offer

Your photos and notes

They are yours. We use them only to run the app for you, as the Privacy Notice explains. You can delete them any time in Settings.

Fair use

Please don’t misuse the service: no photos of other people’s private spaces without their permission, nothing illegal, and no attempts to break, overload or copy the service.

Suggestions from AI

Plans and task suggestions come partly from an AI service. They can be wrong or incomplete, so check before you act.

Changes and availability

We may change or improve the app. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email you before it applies. We aim to keep the service running but can’t promise it will never be down.

Liability

The app is provided as is. As far as the law allows, Bright Day Apps isn’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

Ending

You can stop using Home Reset and delete your account any time in Settings. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why.
